The 2009 Muncie Endurathon will take place on SATURDAY, JULY 11. This will be the 30th Anniversary of the "Worlds Longest Running Half-Distance Triathlon."

All participants, including Sprint athletes, must be at Prairie Creek race morning by 7:00am. The first half wave will be in the water at 7:00. The sprint will start at 8:30 but all of the roads coming into P.C. will be closed at 7:00. Sprint registration will close at 7:00, and all sprint bags must be picked up by 7:15 on race day. There will be no race day registration or bag pick-up for the half.
The water temperature will be within a degree or so of 78 degrees on race day and can change quickly. In the last 10 years, we have been wetsuit legal half of the time. The official temp will be taken race morning. I suggest that if you have a wetsuit and want to wear it, bring it with you!
The expo will be held on July 10th from 3:00 to 9:00pm at the Muncie Convention Center. Pre-race meetings will be held at 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00pm. All first time participants are encouraged to attend the meetings and we feel that all athletes will benefit from attending.
The annual Youth Triathlon has been changed to a Duathlon for reasons beyond our control. More information can be found by clicking the Youth Tri link on the left side of the page.
We would like everyone to check out the parking info by clicking on the parking tab to the left. For athlete's safety, we have a 100% closed course, so parking and getting in/out of the race site can be confusing.
